My garden makes me so darn happy! I love watering and clipping and pinching back and watching how flowers wither or become peas. The asters are finally opening up. The tomatoes have pretty much taken over the fence, hiding tomatoes! tomatoes! tomatoes! on every branch! And there’s one that’s turning red!! In my window the flowers are the orange of ripe melon. I love how my hands smell after tieing back tomatoes branches, even now while I’m typing.

This morning, I spotted a really nice trash couch. No rips, no smell, nice carved feet. I came home to grab the handtruck and my brand new neighbor and his buddy gallantly offered to help. Yea! New-old couch!
